The two videos demonstrated that the teacher must have a good attitude and be friendly for students to learn and participate. Smiling is really important to make students comfortable. The teacher in the second video mentioned the students' names, spoke slowly, pronounced well and spoke according to the level of the students. He also showed that to elicit vocabulary it is effective to use mime and cards.The drills made everyone participate.Before handing out a worksheet in the study phase, the teacher gave an example on the board to make sure everyone would understand and be able to complete the task.The teacher made it easier to know what to do in the Activate phase by giving the students the example of his own animal drawing.The whole lesson flowed smoothly because the Engage stage , the Study stage and the Activate stage were all connected.
