I think the best part of this unit was the mass amount of resource material included towards the end! Having access to such a rich wealth of information would be useful when it's time to start planning lessons on a daily basis! I was quite familiar with a lot of the teaching aids covered in this unit but was happy to learn about them from some angles that I haven't considered before, such as how they change the classroom environment and some of the problems with teaching aid positions in the classroom etc. I thought that a teacher having to avoid unnecessary capitalization on important words or language points to be quite interesting. I never would have thought that this would be something that might put students off or confuse them in some way! Great unit, I'm going to take away all the links and websites shown in the PDF. Very, very helpful.
