Unit 12 looks at the productive skills of speaking and writing. Both forms are ways to communicate, but can vary with their grammar- like with speaking using contracted froms of words and also the vocabulary used - like with writing in certain situations the vocabulary changes to match the formality of the topic. Another clear distinction was made for me between accuracy and fluency and their meanings. Accuracy bases itself on students understanding of the topic through teacher controlled activities like drilling, and fluency looks at the flow of communication and how it is expressed clearly through creative activities by the students.
The inclusion of games in a classroom really adds a sense of fun and vibrancy, that engages learners of all ages. I found it helpful to see other games provided in the list that I can try in my current classes!
