In order to aid the teaching process, as teachers, we will often bring to the class various types of materials intending to help us in the lesson. Some of them will be authentic, not designed as teaching aids, and many will also be non-authentic, these are specifically designed as teaching aids. But sometimes it's difficult to distinguish the difference. When planning a lesson we will most likely choose either ESA or EP methodology. As teachers most often, and it is also a common practice, we will be required to prepare lesson plans for our lessons. We need to remember that these should be detailed and give examples and clear descriptions of phases and activities in case another teacher must cover for our absence. There are many resources for teaching young learners available, some of them will be books and many nowadays will be internet based.
