The idea of teaching business level students is really interesting and makes me think of teaching those beyond high school. It would be really interesting teaching an audience who is invested and paid to be in my class. Thinking about this, it makes me wants to explore further options other than what I am teaching now. After teaching Adult ESOL, some of the points that are made about the collective strengths and weaknesses of a class from beginner to more advanced, are so relevant. It once again highlights how important assessment is to see where your students are.From this unit i've taken away a deeper understanding of why one organizes a lesson plan for each class, and would now feel comfortable doing so. The example sheets given in the unit really helped me to get a 'tangible', 'hands-on' feel of what a worksheet might look like, and what structure a lesson plan might have. I was challenged as I filled out the lesson plan, because I was thinking of all the different dynamics of a live classroom setting. This unit definitely stimulated my imagination for what an in-class teaching experience might hold for me in the future.
