I already have a relatively firm grasp on parts of speech, however, the specifics surrounding gerunds and some of the differences between personal pronouns have always been a little hazy to me. This unit did well in clearing some of the confusion up for me. I also never really considered the order of adjectives you would use in describing something(i.e age, color, material, etc.) even though I would use that order in conversation without even thinking about it.This unit covered the future tenses of English, which were more numerous than I expected, given the simple chart I've been using for taking notes. Of course, be going + infinitive is pretty obvious as a form of future tense that falls outside of the main four tenses, but the present simple and present continuous didn't strike me as forms of future tense, rather as ways of using the present tense to discuss events in the future. I suppose it is just semantics.
