The unit is dedicated to theories, methods, and techniques of teaching. It starts with listing teaching methods and giving a brief description of each of them but the main topic is Engage - Study - Activate methodology of teaching. ESA is a practical and convenient way of lesson planning that gives teachers a freedom of choice of activities and allows students to learn in a friendly and playful manner.Engage is an opening stage and is a warm-up for students; Study is a part where students are given new concepts of the language and practice it.This is when error correction is done. Activate is a closing stage where students practice acquired knowledge. It also exposed to me a lot of learning games and other activities that can be used on different stages of a lesson.I find this unit quite useful and will be referring to it while planning lessons.
