I found this unit quite difficult to understand and will need to practice the use of conditionals and reported speech, especially how the tenses change. I can see how non native speakers of English can get confused and make mistakes. I think the teaching ideas such as using the split sentences, completing the conditional and chain conditionals would come in useful to practice.
For reported speech I would have to practice using different tenses and how these change when going from direct to reported speechThis has been the most intriguing unit thus far! I found it to be fascinating learning all about the International Phonetic Alphabet. While I do not have it memorized just yet, I do believe I have retained a great deal of it. I also found the study of the way we make the vast majority of sounds interesting. This is a subject that one could study in a great depth. I found the variety of diagrams to be helpful. I believe this unit has given me tremendous skills to take into the classroom with me! Thank you!
