This unit has again made me think back to when I was a student studying Spanish. It was definitely important for my teachers to use a variety of different aids and types of equipment or else risk losing the interest and motivation of their students. I know that I particularly enjoyed watching TV shows or YouTube videos in Spanish, as they were usually about a topic that interested me, which would help me to keep my focus in trying to understand them.The most important thing I learned from this unit was to be flexible in my lesson planning and not stick to a rigid structure. I learned that it is more important to adapt based on what the students are struggling or succeeding with and how to change my teaching in order for them to understand the language point better by the end of the class. I also learned all the components of a general lesson plan and how to prepare using all the different parts.
