This unit is covering the topic of teaching themes. The main thing that I have learned in this topic is, that a particular language lessons limits the scale of teaching ideas. Instead it´s good to have different techniques that can be applied to many themes. There are tools such as case studies, frameworking or problem based learning. Also games can be a great tool used in the classroom druing an engage phase you could play hangman for example. Another tool is the computer aided language learning. Overall there are no limits to use different tools to teach business english.This unit reviewed basic structures of English grammar. It discussed parts of speech, including nouns, verbs, and adjectives, as well as other aspects such as prepositions, conjunctions, and gerunds. The unit provided general rules and characteristics of English grammar as well as the caveat that much of English grammar does not actually have standard rules and learning it largely depends on memorizing the many irregularities. I did not feel I learned anything new from this unit, though it is always good to review these things, especially in preparation for teaching English.
