Unit 18 deals with modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. It list the modals can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must, have to, have got to, need to, needn't and ought to. Modals are used to express different ideas should as ability, obligation, and advice. There are two voices used in english the active voice and the passive. In the passive voice the object of the active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb. It explains tenses, usages and errors made by students.In this Unit I learned the structure and what to expect in this Business English course. I was surprised to learn that no Business background is necessary in teaching Business English but I am positive that it will come in handy to have some experience in this field of work.
The Unit helped me better understand what to expect in this course and when will I learn it. The aims and objectives are clearly portrayed. It also gives an uplifting job prospective once I have competed the course.
