This unit was fairly easy and provided me with the right structure to successfully have my learners read and listen effectively. It taught me the problems that might come about while teaching but also how to manage them. The examples of the ESA lessons provided great insight on not only how to design a lesson plan but also get your leaners to listen and read! The only negative thing I have to say about this unit is this test. The multiple choice questions and answers are a little too broad making the correct answer almost impossible to guess.This unit discusses teaching new language and focuses on vocabulary and grammar. When a student is learning a new language he needs to be exposed to it, understand it's meaning and how it's constructed, as well as be able to produce and practice it. Grammar is important because it is the structure of the language and teaches the student how to construct properly formed sentences. Vocabulary is what adds beauty and variety to the grammar. Both are equally important and must be taught in order for a student to be able to learn the language.
