From this Unit I got some ideas about how to teach the productive skills. I agree that there's not that much attention to writing since most of the students and thus courses are structured in a way you get more speaking practice. And I cannot disagree that sometimes it is reasonable. However I'm exited to get an example of teaching writing since it should be considered as equally important. The Unit sticks to ESA methodology making it more clear with each chapter.In this module, I learned about the four types of past tense. I learned how to form them, in which instances they are used and common errors that students make when forming them. I learned that past perfect tense refers to \"the past in the past\". I also learned that some verbs have an irregular past simple form in English, which can confuse students. I learned some sample games that I can use to teach these forms to the students, such as Fish and matching cards.
