In this unit I learned the importance of teaching speaking and writing to students. Speaking in and writing in English can be very difficult because English is not a phonetic language and many words sound the same but are written different and have very different meanings. Also that writing is often neglected in TEFL classes, so it is importance to incorporate it into your teaching routine. And I also learned the difference in teaching accuracy activities to students and fluency activities.how to carry out a lesson plan and effectively apply it to the class depending on the level of English. Being able to to do this will really help me improve my future lessons and my ability as a teacher. The ESA lesson plan seems to be really of great help in completing a lesson fulfilling all task at hand that need to be addressed. I had never been exposed to this methodology of teaching before and will definitely keep practicing it many times so i can improve myself when teaching a class.
