This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This lesson gave a detailed explanation of the variety of teaching aids that can, and in many cases should, be used or available for use in the classroom. It covers everything from standard photocopiers and whiteboards to more electronically advanced computers and online resources. All in all this information comes off as very standard knowledge for general classroom learning. However, I found the more detailed advantages and disadvantages of the different teaching aids to be particularly helpful. This was the most difficult unit for me so far. Modal auxiliary verbs and relative clauses are explained very well, but phrasal verbs remain a bit a mystery to me. Especially the part about the intransitive type is not very well explained and should be expanded with some more examples.
Otherwise, just as with most other grammar items, the rules match well with what has been picked up during years of practice in English speaking countries. However, I will have continue working on these phrasal verbs!
