The video has shown that the attitude with which teacher teaches his students is uttermost important in the classroom. In the video the students seemed afraid and frustrated to participate and about the class as the teacher seemed to have very low levels of empathy. He spoke with a raised voice and repeatedly said it was very easy instead of asking the students wether they needed more help to understand. The fact that he understands as a teacher is assumed and almost clear, the important part is wether the students understand which should be the Focus of the lesson.Productive skills are simply the other side of the coin from receptive skills. However unlike reading and listening which focus more on a students internal understand, writing and speaking have more tangible results. A student should be able to pronounce and write something that he can read. We are to teach them the correct methods of both reading and pronunciation along with varied vocabulary. This may require pre-teaching in lessons to ensure that students understand and have the abilities to write or pronounce to a suitable level before entering the Engage phase.
