This unit covered future tenses, which includes more tenses than just the simple, perfect, continuous and future continuous that were encountered in the present and past tenses, because there is also the future tenses for 'going to' and present tense forms taking place as a future time. It is a good opportunity to recall the subject matter covered in the present tense unit. It is straight forward, except for bringing the present tenses into the future function - I would not have thought to group this together, but it makes sense as it rightly can be used to speak about the future.This unit is the most useful for my job thanks to its information on young learners. Teaching young learners is very different from teaching adults. Children are not often as motivated as adults can be, but there are ways of grabbing their attention and having a productive class. I have not yet had a chance to teach a business class or classes with very many adults in them yet. Most of my adult learners are in one on one type of environments. My biggest weakness is using the students native language to explain something. I recognize that it is often not as helpful as I think it is.
