Unit thirteen teaches the teacher and student about phonology and pronunciation. Through the use of phonetic alphabet and the use of mouth charts the teacher can help the student pronounce their vocabulary with more emotion and emphasis to give context and meaning to their sentences. This unit suggests that lack of confidence and training on the part of the instructor can leave this vital part of learning English neglected. Through the use of the charts and the rules provided in this unit the instructor will have the basic tools to help students with pronunciation.This section is very similar to the earlier subject of present tenses. It is a bit more confusing when trying to explain myself the difference between past present and past present continuous. Therefore, I should focus on finding a way to explain the contrast between the two forms for the students. I will also focus on the irregular tense forms in order for the students to get used to writing and speaking past tense verbs properly. Also, I may need to review the questionnaire form for the students, so they can be more engage with each other when learning the lessons.
