Like past tenses, this unit likely presents many great challenges to my students. I think present simple and present continuous may be the hardest because they require knowledge from previous units in the course, namely present tenses. I think distinguishing between future simple and going to future may be hard at first in that the structure can resemble future simple in my opinion, with \"going to\" being one of the few differences. The usage of the forms are also somewhat similar.This chapter was about new vocabulary introduction, grammar and language function. I learned how to select vocabulary for the students and how using realia, mime and action, pictures, contrast, discussion and discovery techniques will help the student in learning new vocabulary. I also learned the techniques for presenting and practicing language structure. Finally, I also learned on who the most effective approach for language function is the boomerang and the patchwork type ESA.
