This unit covered the future tenses, with four tenses following the patterns of present and past tenses (simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous). Additionally, the unit covered three tense-like usages of describing the future, namely the 'going to' future and the present simple and present continuous when talking about the future. For each of these tenses and usages, the unit covered the basic form, usages, common mistakes and teaching ideas.This unit 12 by covering Productive Skills followed along naturally in its content and context from the Receptive Skills unit 11. The use of speaking and writing skills when teaching English is equal in their importance to ensure students can not only engage confidently in discussions but also formalise their understanding of the English language through writing based activities. Speaking and writing form part of a normalised everyday use of any language.
