This lesson covered lesson planning and its importance. It is useful for the teacher to have a plan written out, so that he/she can organize ideas and can quickly reference it during the lesson. It is also helpful to have a lesson plan on hand in case the teacher cannot make it to class for the day. Of course, because teaching is always unpredictable, the teacher must remember to stay flexible and be comfortable with altering the lesson plan as needed.This unit teaches about Receptive skills. It is important for students to focus on both reading and listening skills. There are different entertainment techniques involved, like detailed reading,scanning,skimming,deduction and prediction. This unit also shows how to avoid the problems in reading and writing.
