This lesson focused on the future tense. From this I learn many different and I believe beneficial ways to teach this topic. My favorite example is the exercise which allows the students to ask about a partner about their schedules to find a day they are both available. This not only allows the student to use the future tense but allows them to use other tenses allowing the student to have a full conversation. I feel for myself this will be one of the easier topics to teach due to how structured tenses are.Unit 16 covers two important grammatical areas and these are conditionals and reported speech. The five main conditionals are described in this unit, as well as their forms, usages and example sentences. Then it is written about typical mistakes that students can make while learning and practicing the conditionals, also some teaching ideas are given. The second part of this unit is related to reported & direct speech, how direct speech changes to reported speech, lots of example sentences are given as well.
