This was a very informative and fun unit. I enjoy learning new ways to help student's that I can try right away. This unit gave a broad idea of several different ways to incorporate technology into the classroom based on what you have access to. It showed the strengths of each and how you can use them to help your student's learning and motivation. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't find a video for this unit. I would of liked to of seen some of the technology in action.In this unit we focused on the difference between accuracy and fluency and the speaking activities that can be used in the classroom during different stages of the lesson. Also we looked at how games can be used in the classroom to encourage student's participation and how these games are an effective tool for students to practice productive skills. By looking at an example lesson plan, I've also learnt how these activities are effectively used during each stage of our lesson.
