In the unit managing classes we learned that eye contact, gestures and voice tone play a key role in establishing student confidence and classroom management. How the different ways of grouping students influence the classroom as a whole and a student as an individual. Grouping students in to pairs in my opinion has the most benefits because it allows students to have talk time, allows the teacher to help certain pairs while other groups work on the lesson and its fairly easy to organize. Also the teachers talk time is important but shouldn’t interfere with the student’s time to speak, interact and learn. It is important to maintain discipline in the classroom by always being punctual, prepared, consistent, enthusiastic, and maintain rapport with the class. If there are problems act immediately don’t wait for the problem to worsen.
