I’ve known a lot from the third unit. It’s a «warehouse» of new information to me on how to teach language. The unit is structured greatly so it’s easy to comprehend all the date at once. The most interesting discovery for me was the fact that all the issues were not new for me, I knew them before, I was taught with the usage of many methodologies described in the unit.
To my mind, the main methodology (ESA) represented here as the basic one is the best way for students to be absorbed into the language, to study it’s rules and to use them in a speech flow. It combines everything what is necessary for students in order to learn language productively and with interest. There are so many hints for various types of activities which can be used in a class that will do lessons challenging as well as entertaining and meaningful.
