Parts of speech showed how each word plays a role in a sentence and can be classified as noun, verb, gerund, adjective, adverb, preposition etc.
I have learnt how to classify and identify these parts of speech. As a frequent English speaker, I was using all these parts of speech but now I can identify them as well.
This unit shows that a sentence must consist of a verb and a subject apart from the other words. It also stated the usage of each parts of speech and where they are applied in a sentence.
Furthermore, the different parts are divided into their types where they are explained even in more depth.
The articles are further divided into definite and indefinite articles to make them easier to understand the difference between them.
I also learned that there is a pattern or a rule to apply for the placement of certain words in a sentence.
