In this unit, we were presented with the most common situations and problems we might encounter as teachers and how to solve them. First, we discussed about the first lessons, which are very important as they will set the pace of the following classes. Additionally, we were explained how warmers can help us to start the class effectively. Furthermore, some problems as having a class with different levels, large number of students, and reluctant students were presented with their respective possible solutions. Also, it was made clear that the use of native language in the classroom is not appropriate and we should avoid it as much as possible. Finally, we were advised to not put aside listening activities just because students have a lot of problems with it, on the contrary, we need to continue working on it so they can improve their listening skill.
