Unit 9 is about lesson planning. When making lesson plans it is important to keep it simple and flexible. A teacher must also make clear objectives for both the students and themselves. Make sure to make the engage stage fun and interesting, the study phase informative, and the activate phase fun and with the most student speaking time. It is important that your lessons are flexible. I know I said this already, but it is important. When making a lesson plans make sure to keep in mind past lessons and future lessons. After your lesson, make notes on any changes made, or any changes you recommend in the future. Be sure to use both the blank lesson plan form and the self evaluation form, but they are not required. It might be more helpful to some than others. Each teacher will figure out what is best for them when it comes to lesson planning.
