Lesson planning is a working document that is important because it aids you in thinking logically with the time that you have available for the specific lesson. You can use it as:
1)a flexible document to keep on target
2)a record to help you remember what has been done during the time period that you have had with the students as well as a guideline for a substitutuion teacher in case you may not be able to carry out the lesson yourself.
I found unit 9 important because it explans how to plan, organise and programme the lessons with regards to different class levels and total number of students.
