This unit discussed an important and fun consideration when planning lessons, course materials. I learned that it is important for the teacher to remain flexible in this aspect as well, in terms of adjusting course materials in accordance with the audience and need. Specifically, I learned the importance of analyzing the course book. I felt that considering the methodology to be the most important factor to consider when selecting course materials. Having a good balance that adheres or follows ESA lesson plans is important, and then it must be attractive in order to draw the students attention. I also look forward to designing my own lesson materials to supplement when needed. In conclusion, while the topic of course materials may seem like a simple consideration when planning, it is actually a very important aspect of both teaching and learning.
