I have learned that teachers have various roles to play in a classroom to effectively teach a language depending on the activity and the end-goal for the learners. And as a teacher, the focus should not just be on the quality of teaching being done, but also on how effective it is with the students.
Qualities of a good learner were also discussed and how those qualities are the responsibilities of the teacher to foster in a classroom. Moreover, the different factors that have a bearing on students’ ability to learn were stipulated, which would be helpful for a teacher in formulating strategies and techniques to effectively teach the language.
