This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit focused on conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are sentences that contain a condition that can, might or won't happen. There are five kinds of conditionals from zero to fourth. Zero conditionals are used when the outcome is certain. First conditionals are for real situations that can or will happen. Second conditionals are used when talking about an unlikely present or future event and its consequences. The third conditional refers to hypothetical past actions and there consequences and mixed conditionals combine a second and third conditional and show hypothetical past situations and their outcomes. The unit also discussed the difference between reported (indirect) and direct speech. When reporting what someone else said, you are required to change the pronoun and the tense. Teaching suggestions for both subjects were also given.
