I learned there's no one fixed way to teach a new language, but it is important to keep in mind who is in your classroom and how to keep the lessons varied so they don't become predictable and lose the interest of your students. It is also important for a teacher to create a safe environment for all students to feel comfortable in exploring what they learn without fear. Knowing your students and creating a positive teacher student relationship is the best tool to help the teacher create great lessons according to the students abilities and have students excited about coming to class.
