This lesson was interesting in because we learned about the other skills which are production. These producing skills are writing and speaking. These are both equally important, and useful in life. Writing is generally forgotten and not given enough attention, even though writing is a critical skill which allows people to communicate in a different way. Writing can be more difficult because of differences in the native languages own writing style, punctuation and sentence structure differences. We learned about fluency activities and accuracy activities. Both are important but have different functions, accuracy activities are ones that make sure that the new language is being used correctly and would have activities such as scripted rle play or choral drilling. Fluency activities are just trying to allow the students to be creative with the new langue.
