This unit applies the different ESA structures covered in the previous chapters and uses them to break down how to teach vocabulary, grammar structure, and language structure. It suggests which ESA structure is recommended for teaching each area and gives examples on activities and discussion ideas for each step of that ESA structure. Coming from the private academy system in Korea, I'm used to just following the steps and guidelines laid out by the books I've used and/or the directors wishes, so it's nice to learn different ways to layout a lesson for myself, should I teach with a bit more freedom in the future. When discussing teaching vocabulary, grammar structure, and language structure, the unit also discusses how to select what to teach in those areas, what students need to know when studying them, and ESA techniques for each of them as well.
