Unit 4 is about the present tense in all its forms: simple present, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. It has been a refreshing reminder on the usage of each tense and the first time it was not explained with a time frame line. The first usage of the simple and present continuous tenses are very easy to understand but meanwhile the perfect tenses are more complicated since they both relate the past to the present and use the word for. Yet with the video it was easier to understand the present perfect continuous as an unceasing action leading to a present result as in the example: I´m tired because I have been chopping logs all day long; while the present perfect as activities in the past related to an indefinite present. It is a good chapter review of the basics usage of the present tense with teaching activities.
