This unit discussed the teaching of pronunciation and phonology. I found this unit to be a plethora of information. Although useful in teaching ESL students, it also tended to be overwhelming with all the different aspects to grasp and understand. I particularly enjoyed the \"rise and fall\" and \"fall and rise\" section where I could practice various sentences to indicate my content messages. Also, the techniques for intonation and stresses where helpful in gaining ideas for assisting my students. Lastly, the places and manners of articulation were a good review for me. As an educator in the field of music, we use these techniques daily to assist student to sing with proper vocal resonance and mouth placement. Overall, this unit was intriguing and most useful to begin incorporating into my teaching lessons (both as a whole lesson or as/when required).
