This section deals with future tense, which poses special challenges to English language learners, in part from the difficulty of knowing which future tense suits the occasion, in part from the complexity of forming future constructions grammatically. The future tense most often uses the word 'will', along with 'be' plus \"-ing\" form of the verb (future continuous), along with 'have' plus the participle form of the verb (future perfect), or with both -- 'will have been' plus the -ing form of the verb (future perfect continuous). The teacher must ensure the students are using the correct tense, and in the correct order. In addition, English often uses the 'Going to future' tense to express planned intentions. Lastly, English often uses the simple present to describe future occasions, mainly with time tables and schedules, and other impersonal happenings.
