In unit twelve I learnt how to teach productive skills - speaking and writing. Both of them are important because these two skills help us to communicate with others. Anyhow there are differences in teaching these two skills. Sometimes seems like writing is boring, because usually this time turned into silent time in classroom, that is why teachers prefer to arrange writing tasks as home work. Some students focus on speaking skills more, therefore it does not mean that we can ignore writing. Sometime people have no choice but send a message. Writing is more difficult because student should try to make less mistakes and use proper words. Speaking is not that difficult, because we can correct ourselves straight away. Teaching productive skills we should be creative as well. Teachers can use a lot of communication games during the lesson, it will help a lot.
