In this unit i learnt about present tenses. I feel more comfortable and confidant after studying it. Having knowledge of grammar is very important. The term present tense is usually used in descriptions of specific languages to refer to a particular grammatical form or sets of form.The basic form of the present tense is called the simple present;there are also constructions known as the present continuous, the present continuous and the present perfect continuous.This unit was very technical for me, however I was reminded about the five main conditionals. These are Zero Conditional(If/when + present tense,present tense),First Conditional(If+ present simple,will),Second Conditional(If+ past simple,would/could/might+ base form),Third Conditional
(If + past perfect,would/could/might+have+past participle, Mixed Conditional(If+past perfect,would+base form). Different examples were provided along with useful teaching techniques.
