Unit Five focuses on how to manage a classroom and all the factors that should be acknowledged when teaching. One of the most important parts in managing a classroom is making sure that the teacher is building confidence in their students. When the classroom environment is friendly and organized, the students usually feel more comfortable and are able to concentrate while keeping up their motivation to learn. Therefore, it's vital that the teacher is aware of their gestures and motions as it can greatly affect how the students feel. I've never really studied how to manage a classroom, however everything in this unit seemed very practical and realistic. As someone who has been in a classroom for most of my life, I understand how students may feel and can hopefully relate to my future students by making my classroom as welcoming and encouraging as possible.
