Learning about the different methods was quite interesting, it is helpful to see all the different methods that can be used. For instance, the Presentation, Practice and Production method is quite effective. The teacher presents the context/situation for the language, as well as explanation and demonstration and meaning. The students can then practice making sentences with the language before going on to the production stage. I find the task based learning method very useful as well. Here the students focus more on the task than the language itself, but by completing the task they can see where and if they went wrong. I prefer the Engage, Study and Activate method, the teacher has more flexibility, there is structure which would make it easier both for teacher and student. It can be made interesting for the students, through role playing, games, questions.
