This Unit made me aware of the various tools out there that can be used to effectively teach English to many students.Tools like projectors, cassette recorders, Video cameras and stuff like that can be used to help students to learn English.
Also there are many tools online that we can use to direct students to help them learn English. Even youtube offers many free English courses uploaded by individuals.
Hopefully we should have enough tools based on the need of the location we will be teaching English.Although lesson plans aren't always required to be an effective teacher, they are still handy and generally a good idea, especially for inexperienced teachers. This lesson outlined all the benefits of lesson plans, such as keeping you organized and on target during the lesson, allowing you to write down learner objectives/ personal aims, and giving you a record of what you have already done. The unit also gave me plenty of examples and templates to make it easier for me to create lesson plans in the future.
