This unit covered future tense verbs, and as in previous units, the basic structure for the different future tense verbs was given, as well as the usage for each tense, and suggestions for teaching the verbs and common mistakes made by students learning each future tense. I found the future tense verbs to be more difficult to wrap my brain around than the past or present tense verbs. There just seemed to be a lot of overlap between the future tenses and the past and present tenses.Unit 6 was on past tenses. As with unit 4 it broke down past tenses into simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. It also shared which verbs had irregular tenses and gave ideas on how to teach these tenses and where students might have errors. It was helpful because as a native speaker I have been ingrained to recognize the correct way of speaking and writing without necessarily realizing the exact reason for it. This breakdown also makes it easier to explain to others.
