This lesson about the use of coursebook and lesson materials gave me a broader perspective about the different possiblities of using different materials inside the classroom. It is clear that the materials used in the classroom play a vital role in the learning process and therefore must be considered carefully. Analyzing the coursebook to be used in the classroom is one of the best way to ensure that we could provide our students with the quality of materials they need to gear them towards quality learning.The unit described all possible groups of learners to explain their specific needs, advantages and disadvantages. Teaching children differs from teaching business-oriented people of different age groups, and teaching multicultural students, that can not communicate using their native languages, should not be the same as teaching students that can speak their native language.
