Unit 2 was focused on the most important parts of speech that every teacher will need to conduct quality English classes. All ages of students are going to require the basic parts of speech to create complete sentences. This Unit not only covered all the basic nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, comparatives, superlatives and definite, indefinite and zero articles. The unit also clarified the different types of nouns, verbs and other parts of speech. Sets of rules were given to help clarify the correct usage of each part of speech, accompanied by helpful examples.Textbooks are an important part of the overall materials used in the classroom. Teachers have the options to omit, replace, supplement or adapt the textbook if there is one available for the class. Adapting means the teacher may only use the materials that are suitable for the class and/or modify the materials slightly. In replacement the teacher may replace the textbook with created materials or other resources as they are available. Supplement means that the teacher will use the textbook but add created materials or other outside resources to improve the class.
