I have learnt from this unit that first of all students need to do with new language the following: they should be axposed to it, understand its meaning, understand how it's constructed and be able to practise and produce it. Teachers should introduce students new language in a balanced and manageable way. When teaching vocabulary it is very important to select vocabulary properly and use right techniques for vocabulary teaching. When teaching grammar structures a techer should introduce them in appropriate way, mostly it depends on the level of class and course syllabus and use appropriate techniques for presenting and practising them as well. When teching language functions a techer should consider such areas as inviting, refusing, agreeing or disagreeing, suggesting, etc., and of course a techer should take into account formal, informal or other language.
