The content of the unit is very instructive. It helped me to gain a better understanding of the roles of teachers and learners. While reading through the contents, I could imagine different scenarios with the keywords and the descriptions. It is essential to be able to relate to teaching environment through visualisation. I agree that to be a good teacher, it is important that we know how to switch roles appropriately in taking into account the activity taking place and what we want the learners to achieve. A teacher should always be on the ball and be in control at all time. I guess if it doesn't come with personality, we can achieve that through experience. Besides that a good teacher should always keep his cool and never lose his temper. An angry teacher will never be able to deliver his teaching efficiently as the learners won't feel at ease in the class.
