This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit two provided me with a lot of information I did not have before starting this course. The unit provides a lot information and many examples of how to use different parts of speech including: nouns and different types of nouns, plurals, countable nouns and uncountable nouns, adjectives, comparatives and superlatives, articles, verbs (transitive and intransitive), infinitives, regular and irregular verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions...etc
Many of the rules have exceptions and this would seem to make parts of speech a little tricky to teach. As an English native speaker, I've always known how to speak and write intuitively just by knowing if something sounds right or wrong. But now I know why things are used the way they are, what the rules are, and what different parts of speech comprise a sentence. It feels very empowering.
