From unit 11, I learnt about four basic language learning skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing and they are equally important. When teachers are teaching receptive skills(reading and listening, it is very important to do pre-teaching vocabulary part as this will help remove some obstacles while reading. Also the topic of the text should be carefully selected by the teacher as well. As some topics might interest adults that does not mean they are equally entertainment to the students. Also the topics should be varied that will involve all students' interests. Teachers should also build interest before studying phase and use different materials or methods to motivate students so that they would like to try and be active in the class. Once they are interested in the content, they will learn faster and more easily to master the key teaching content.
